Through the Chamber, members realize how they can accomplish collectively what they cannot achieve individually, shaping Santa Rosa County’s business climate and quality of life.

The Chamber offers a variety of committees designed to increase networking, visibility, communication, address business concerns and keep our members updated on changes within the governmental and business structures. Annual Chamber Golf Tournament “Dan McKenzie Classic

Annual Leadership Awards & Installation Banquet

The Annual Leadership Awards & Installation Banquet, held the last Saturday in January at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium in Milton, is one of only two major fund raisers for the Chamber. During the banquet, we recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations that have demonstrated special efforts and contributions for the betterment of our community.

Our next annual banquet is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Business After Hours

If you’re looking for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere to network with other professionals, then Business After Hours is for you! Hosted at various locations throughout the year, BAH is normally scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Sponsors provide a minimum of two door prizes. All other attendees are invited to donate door prizes as well. Door prize sponsors are given the opportunity to tell a little about their business.

Business After Hours is $10 to attend (covers two beverages and finger foods) and open to non-members and guests.

Community Service Coalition

The Community Service Coalition is held quarterly as a venue for community non-profits and event planners to come together to compare calendars and resources in an effort to identify possible partnerships and better utilize local volunteers and business sponsors. Educational and support needs are identified and guest presenters brought in to address these needs (fund raising, press release composition, media partners, financial accountability, grant writing, etc.). Open to Chamber members and non-members.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 10, 2019, 2:30 p.m., at the Main Street Event Center in Milton.

E.D.G.E. (Economic Development Growth & Education)

E.D.G.E. luncheons are held the third Wednesday of each month (during school season) at Locklin Technical Center, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Guest speakers are featured at each lunch. Attendees consist of local businesses, community leaders and educators.

Students attending Locklin’s Culinary Arts Program provide table service and one of the best meals you can get in the area for only $10!

Santa Rosa County Legislative Coalition

The mission of the Legislative Coalition is to review pending legislation and regulations for their impact on business and development positions that will enhance and enrich economic growth. The Committee also recommends to the Board of Directors, and, following approval, assists in developing programs that inform and encourage members to participate in the Chamber’s governmental action initiatives.

In addition to monitoring business related issues at the local, state and federal level, the Committee reports to the Board of Directors any issues requiring action or follow-up to best provide support to our members.

The purpose of this committee is to promote professional development through networking and social interaction among young professionals, while emphasizing community involvement to make a positive impact on Santa Rosa County.

Networking Lunch

Our monthly Networking Lunch, held the 2nd Friday of each month at The Hangar American Grill in Milton, is a great networking venue with informative programs. Attendance ranges from 60 to 90 guests each month. Cost for lunch is $10 at the door. Non-members and guests are welcome.

The A.M. Network

This monthly breakfast meeting is usually held the last Friday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at Grover T’s BBQ in Milton. Each monthly meeting is sponsored by a local organization or business and features guest speakers, announcements, introductions of new members or guests, and ribbon cuttings. Attendance ranges from 50 to 80 guests each month.
