It would be difficult to find a community which could offer more than Santa Rosa in the area of healthcare.

The county is served by three modern hospitals, an array of physicians and three major hospitals in nearby Pensacola.

Santa Rosa County’s largest healthcare facility is Santa Rosa Medical Center. Santa Rosa Medical Center is a full-service 129-bed facility. Located on Berryhill Road in Milton, SRMC is quickly and easily reached from all points in Santa Rosa County.

The county is also served by two smaller hospitals operated by Baptist Health Care and located in Gulf Breeze and Jay. Both hospitals are located next to medical office buildings for physicians. Gulf Breeze Hospital is a 60-bed facility. Jay Hospital, located in northern Santa Rosa County, is a 55-bed facility serving the people of Jay, Century, Flomaton and other small communities in the area. The hospital provides acute, emergency and long-term care. Specialized services including CT scans, mammography, ultrasound and echoencephalography are also available at the hospital through a mobile service which visits the hospital regularly.
