A Great Place to Visit

Welcome to Santa Rosa County with its beautiful white sand beaches, dense, unspoiled forests, and clear, pristine creeks and rivers.

Our varied natural resources and year-round mild climate provide the perfect setting for an abundance of recreational activities, such as water sports, golf, tennis, camping, hiking/biking, fishing and hunting - to name just a few.

Great Places to Eat

Santa Rosa County has many restaurants and food genres for you to choose from - click here for a selection of local eateries.

Great Places to Play

Santa Rosa County is located in the heart of Florida's "Great Golf Coast." Area golfers have their choice of some of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Florida. Local courses offer layouts ranging from Scottish-style links to hilly and waterfront tracks. Those who enjoy the competitive spirit of the game will find many local tournaments offered in spring and fall.

Great Places to Relax

The Santa Rosa County region provides entertainment in a wide range of venues, depending on your idea of "entertainment". There are several movie theaters in the area; live theatrical plays at numerous locations throughout the year; musical concerts (opera, bluegrass, gospel, rock and country);  and historical and cultural tours and museums. If experiencing nature is entertainment for you, Santa Rosa County offers a multitude of choices from boating to bird watching to canoeing on pristine rivers.

For the racing enthusiasts, it can sometimes be a tough choice between the local drag strip, which brings in many professional dragsters, one of the region's best dirt tracks, which features truck racing and the ever popular Cajun sprint cars, to the NASCAR sponsored track in Pensacola featuring professional racing. If motocross or boat racing appeals more to your taste, these can be found throughout the area on a regular basis.

Great Places to Stay

Are you looking for a condo, cottage or sprawling beach house in Navarre Beach? The newest national hotel chains in centrally located historic Milton? A cabin or tree house in Blackwater River State Forest? - No matter where you stay, our warm welcome will keep you coming back!
